Member fee

  • Individual members of all branches incl. members working in the machine industry without solidarity card pay CHF 150.- per year.
    Individual members working in the machine industry with solidarity card pay CHF 260.- per year. After handing in their solidarity card, they will receive a reimbursement of CHF 170.- (refund solidarity card: CHF 60.- and financial contribution: CHF 110.-). Net amount is CHF 150.-.
  • Pensioners pay 60 CHF per year. This fee is only available if the membership has been continued without interruption after retirement.
  • Apprentices/trainees (to 26 years) pay 30 CHF per year.

Advocate and voice of the employees

Modular Courses for Employee Representatives

Upon request, we offer modular courses for employee representatives. These courses are designed according to the requirements of the employee representatives. Please allow a six week preparation period for the course.

The maximum number of attendants is 18 persons. The price for the courses is CHF 1800 for a whole day, CHF 1000 for a half day.

Modules of 2 hours

  • Working time regulations and their provisions
  • Performance skills at negotiations
  • Provisions on protection of data privacy in labor law and the practice of noncompetition
  • Collective labor agreements and company agreements
  • Law on employee participation and participation reglementations, employee representatives’ rights and obligations

Modules of 4 hours

  • Introduction to Swiss labor law
  • The basics of social security law
  • Communication and negotiation skills

Module of 8 hours

  • Media training for employee representatives
