Solidarity contribution of the machine industry (MEM)

Up to CHF 182 refund per year for our members who are subject to the CEA of the MEM industry.

Refund CEA MEM industry

To finance the benefits of the social partnership of the MEM industry CEA, a solidarity contribution of CHF 5 per month is deducted directly from the wages of all employees subject to the EA (Art. 4 MEM CEA).

In return, you will receive a solidarity card from your employer at the beginning of each year. This is valid as a security (original solidarity card) and as proof of your CEA subjection and your monthly payments of the solidarity contribution.

Four steps to get get a refund of up to CHF 182 in 2022

Check your pay slip to find out if the solidarity contribution of CHF 5.- per month has been deducted

At the beginning of the year, make sure you have received your solidarity card

Send your solidarity card 2021 to your employee association or Employees Switzerland

Employees Switzerland will reimburse you up to CHF 182.-- (reimbursement of solidarity contributions from the previous year of CHF 60.-- as well as an allowance of up to CHF 122.-- per year depending on the membership fee).

Please use only the original solidarity card (blue background) that you receive from your employer. Copies are not valid.
