Industry 4.0

The human workforce is shifting towards creative and intellectual work that cannot be standardized

The impact of the fourth industrial revolution will change the world of work and job profiles. Robots and algorithms will take over routine work. However, well-trained skilled workers will still be sought-after in the industry. New job profiles and forms of work will be created, posing challenges for employees and employers alike, but also offering new opportunities for both sides.

Employees Switzerland is committed to raising awareness among employees and companies at an early stage and promotes and demands targeted measures such as lifelong learning, professional skills development for all or the use of the full potential of skilled workers in order to successfully meet the challenges of Industry 4.0.
