Pierre Derivaz will take up the role of Chief Executive of Angestellte Schweiz on 1 August 2026. Stefan Studer is due to retire at the end of October 2026 as planned.

Angestellte Schweiz is deeply concerned about the announced redundancies and the planned almost complete closure of the Swiss site. The planned job cuts must not be carried out unilaterally, and the social partners must be involved.

Almost half of all employees do not have any salary discussions at work. Similarly, almost the same number of people do not expect their salary to increase in 2025. This is a worrying fact, which is particularly evident among women. 54% of women do not expect a pay rise, while this figure is significantly lower for men at 37%. This is the result of a survey commissioned by Angestellte Schweiz and conducted by DemoSCOPE.

The social partners have agreed on a new collective bargaining agreement on staff leasing for the next four years. It brings with it a higher minimum wage (+3.2% in 2024) with automatic inflation compensation for the coming years.
