These are our new board members

A record number of participants came to the Schützi in Olten to experience the 2025 Delegates' Assembly, and some of them - which we are particularly pleased about - accepted the invitation for the first time.
It's no secret that the world of work is changing at an impressive pace today. We firmly believe in collective intelligence to make the most of these changes. The MEM industries, which are under pressure due to the economy and political uncertainties, are at the centre of our attention. However, every crisis is an opportunity to reorient ourselves and mobilise our forces for new solutions. That is why we have done everything we can to make the 2025 event unforgettable.
There will be major changes to our Board of Directors in 2025: For professional or personal reasons, Robert Hediger, Bruce Nyfeler and Sara Zanardi have decided to leave us. The meeting provided an opportunity to thank them for their valuable commitment and to welcome their successors Luca Büchi, Melanie Hasler and National Councillor Stefan Müller-Altermatt. These three dynamic personalities with their diverse experience in politics, management and staff representation are valuable assets for the future of our organisation. There are also changes in the Audit Committee: Christian Huber and Benjamin Kuoni are joining the team. A big thank you to all of them for their commitment.
Of course, the hot topic of AI could not be left out. The best way to get to grips with this revolution is to stay curious, take an interest and learn. We are delighted with the success of our courses on this topic. Our training team has even been strengthened this year and is working on bringing you new relevant training courses and webinars on various topics.AI is not just about using it, but also about thinking about how it will affect our lives in the long term. That's why futurologist Joël Luc Cachelin visited us and gave us a philosophical break to think about how we can live and work together with this new engine of our time.
With this in mind, ‘Ella’ has joined our team. She is an AI avatar and mental health counsellor. The chatbot is the result of a new collaboration with the agency Kuble - House of Intelligence and is the second avatar available to our members. It is integrated into the ‘Do something?!’ web platform and enables a live dialogue about worries and stress in the workplace. A great example of how humans and AI can come together for the benefit of people. Welcome, ‘Ella’, and many thanks to Roger Oberholzer, Project Manager at Kuble, who introduced her to the delegates.
Apart from the official part, a meeting is above all an opportunity to socialise and experience a few emotional moments. Music accompanied the day: a music quiz, a piano piece, the premiere of the new Swiss Salaried Employees anthem and, above all, a private concert by the French-speaking Swiss artist Phanee de Pool at the end of the event!
Every year, the Assembly of Delegates offers us the opportunity to obtain information and represent common interests. It serves as a forum for the exchange of opinions and ideas and enables members to actively influence decisions.
Every year, the delegates' meeting provides us with an opportunity to obtain information and defend common interests. It serves as a forum for exchanging opinions and ideas, allows members to actively influence decisions and return home filled with optimism.
We would like to thank all participants who attended!
